Sevilla have submitted an offer for the services of Tottenham winger Bryan Gil.
After coming up the ranks at Sevilla, Gil joined Tottenham in the summer of 2021. The North London club acquired his services with a lot of expectations but unfortunately, the move hasn't gone according to plan for both parties.
The player is now looking to push for a move away and according to a report from VamosMiSevilla, the Spanish club have put forward an offer to re-sign their youth product in the summer. Their proposal could satisfy all parties and see Gil rejoin his boyhood club.
The right-winger has failed to fire at Spurs and he has had multiple loan spells since joining the club. While Ange Postecoglou decided against sending him out on loan this season, Gil has only had 233 minutes of first-team football in 12 appearances throughout the 2023/24 season.
His contract with Tottenham runs until the summer of 2026 but the 23-year-old winger wants to part ways with the English club. He doesn't intend on leaving on another loan, Gil wants a permanent switch.
More Stories / Latest News Sevilla are quite keen on having him in their ranks and they are trying to figure out a way to get the deal done. Spurs are looking for a fee of around EUR6-8 million for a permanent transfer but the Spanish outfit will not be able to afford that at this point in time. That is why they have proposed a loan deal with a mandatory buy option which will come into effect next summer.
It is a proposal that could satisfy all parties. Gil gets a permanent move, Spurs get the money they want and Sevilla have enough time to recover financially and meet the demands of the North London club.
