Real Madrid fans took to social media once again on Tuesday to voice their displeasure with two key members of Carlo Ancelotti's squad, Luka Modric and Federico Valverde. The criticism stemmed from the revelation that both players had voted for Lionel Messi as first in FIFA's 'The Best' award, which ultimately led to Messi clinching the prize.

After tying votes with Erling Haaland, it was decided by international captains' firstplaced selections. Both Modric and Valverde had chosen Messi as their top pick. This decision did not sit well with Real Madrid supporters who accused them of betraying their club due to Messi's Barcelona past.

This backlash continued into Tuesday when fans began flooding Real Madrid's official Instagram account posts criticizing the decision of both players and even calling for them to be sold.
