The club paid a loan fee of around PS2.

5million to sign him in August and are now set to take up the PS23million option to make him a permanent Wolves player.

It is understood that Larsen has now passed the threshold of appearances needed to trigger that clause in the contract and the player will sign a deal at Wolves until 2029.

Although the 24-year-old has come in for some criticism due to missed chances in recent games, he has enjoyed an impressive first season in English football with seven goals and two assists in 20 Premier League games, alongside one added assist in the Carabao Cup.
