Manchester United are again being linked with a move for Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves.
Neves was mentioned as a possible transfer target for the Red Devils following Wolves ‘ superb 2017-18 Championship campaign when he took the second tier by storm following his 16 million transfer from Porto.
Last week it was suggested that Neves, along with wingers Pedro Neto and Adama Traore, could be put up for sale in order to raise cash for a summer overhaul.
Now Neves, who has also been linked with Liverpool and Arsenal, is being touted with a switch to Old Trafford once again.
Neves, according to website 90min.com, is on United’s list of summer transfer targets.

According to reports elsewhere, Borussia Dortmund duo Erling Braut Haaland and Jadon Sancho are still targets for Ole Gunnar Solakjaer’s side.
So whether United could finance a deal for Neves as well as a striker and winger, which are their priorities, is unlikely given the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on clubs financially.
Neves, who is under contract at Molineux until 2023, has scored five times in the Premier League this season.
It has been a tricky 2020-21 for Nuno Espirito Santo ‘s men, who have failed to hit the heights of their last couple of campaigns.
Meanwhile, United fans have welcomed the rumours about Neves with open arms.
“Declan Rice and Neves would be dreamy,” one fan said. “So so dreamy.”
“Yes please, I’ve wanted him for the past few seasons,” added another. “Plus, he’ll stop scoring against us if he plays for us.”
Another added: “A great replacement for Paul Pogba I guess if he leaves.”
“Exactly what we need,” said a fourth United supporter. “Someone who can sit at the base of midfield with the ability to pass the ball forward, missed that since Michael Carrick retired. A realistic signing this.”
“I have been wanting United to sign this guy, but it sounds too good to be true,” another said.
