Its a good weekend for Wolverhampton Wanderers fans, who watched Adama Traore hit a last-minute winner against Fulham on Friday night.

The game had become quite significant following the poor performance against West Ham United.

Fulham have been showing real fight of late, and they certainly made life difficult at Craven Cottage.

Traore has been grabbing the headlines since the game and quite rightly, too.

But there was another standout player in London someone who hasnt had a great deal of praise.

The former Barcelona man made eight clearances, which was the most out of anyone (including both teams), and also made 10 successful tackles again, the most out of anyone and by some distance.

Semedo was tidy in possession, completing 48/55 passes (87%). He also executed two key passes.

His contributions saw him finish the game with an 8.4 rating from Sofascore, making him the games standout performer Fulhams Harrison Reed had the next highest rating with 7.5.

Semedo ever-improving

Semedos performance against Fulham was encouraging.

The 27-year-old will probably have sterner tests, but it was good to see him looking more defensively assured.

Its starting to become clear that hes actually a pretty decent tackler.

Perhaps the main area he needs to work on most is his positioning, but hes still learning the ways of the wing-back having not really operated in the position before this season.
