Ian Wright has said that one Manchester City player is so fun to watch.

The Citizens are currently five games away from the end of their latest Premier League campaign and are currently battling Arsenal and Liverpool for the title.

After recently beating Brighton & Hove Albion 4-0 away from home, one figure in City's team, who played a big part in the win over the Seagulls, has found himself on the end of some big praise.

He said: "Watching Phil Foden in that mode is pretty entertaining.

"His touches on the ball, his movement, obviously his goals and everything, but watching him now, we're watching something happen here.

"This man is awesome."

Looking back over the win against Robert De Zerbi's side, the midfielder scored City's second and third goal on the night.

These goals took his tally for the season to 24 goals in 48 appearances across all competitions, with 10 assists provided as well.

Phil Foden has been a joy to watch this season Across his 31 league appearances, the 23-year-old has racked up the second-highest total of shot-creating actions (125) and goal-creating actions (18) in the City squad.

He also has the second-highest number of successful take-ons at the club, which further highlights how much of an entertaining attacking and creative player he is on the ball.

The England international's overall performances have earned him a strong season rating of 7.52/10 from WhoScored, making him the third-highest-rated player at City behind Rodri (7.59/10) and Kevin De Bruyne (7.56/10).

Having played such a big role in City's latest domestic campaign, and impressed Wright along the way, it's clear that if the Blues were to end up lifting another Premier League trophy next month, Foden will be a big reason why they do.
