Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville could be a top target for Liverpool in the summer under soon-to-be appointed manager Arne Slot of Feyenoord.

The Whites are likely going to be forced to put their hopes into gaining promotion via the playoffs this weekend with second place surely unattainable.

However, the lottery of the playoffs means Leeds might be facing a second season in the Championship next term, where you'd imagine Crysencio Summerville won't be around for.

The Reds dugout is going to be taken over by Feyenoord boss Arne Slot at the end of the season, and Dutch outlet 1908.nl are claiming the manager is "wild" about Summerville.

On top of that, Fabrizio Romano has shared that the Anfield outfit have sent scouts to run checks on Summerville multiple times this season in the EFL.

Journalist issues Summerville to Liverpool verdict The Daily Mail's Sami Mokbel has issued his thoughts on the chances of Summerville heading to Merseyside this summer, insisting that it could be quite a step up for him from the Championship to title hopefuls.

Speaking on the JDS Podcast, Mokbel said:

"I saw him a few times last season while watching Leeds and I think he's got a lot of attributes to be a success at a top-six level club, he's very quick and skilful.

"There is definitely potential there. In terms of clubs the size of Liverpool, we mustn't forget that they are back in the Champions League and they will have to put their recruitment policy on a higher level.

"Summerville, having spent the year in the Championship, to then go into a Champions League side would be a tall order. I'd imagine if Liverpool are looking for wide forwards, they will have other irons in the fire."

Summerville could easily make the step up He has been our best player quite comfortably this season, and would be more than worth a top-half move in the summer.

Liverpool would represent a major jump in standards, but they are going to be in transition under Slot and Summerville makes a lot of sense for them.

If we don't go up, we just have to hope that whoever signs him pays us handsomely to take him.
