Supporters in the Kop will have access to a new bar from this weekend's Sky Bet League Two fixture against Bradford City onwards!

The container bar, situated on the gravel area behind the stand, provides eight service points, adding to the four available inside the concourse.

Our chief executive, Joe Palmer, said: "The restricted service provision for food and alcohol is something I recognised within my first couple of weeks in the job.

"I've installed container bars at other clubs and they work really well, so it's something I wanted to move forward with.

"Most clubs will aim to have one service point per 150 fans so, when you consider we have around 4,000 in the Kop for busy matches, four tills is nowhere near adequate.

"This new bar will bring the ratio down to around 250 fans per service point, so we're starting to get towards something more acceptable.

"We want to make the matchday experience better for everyone and this is a key part of that."
