Leeds United may offer Cody Drameh a new contract in order to secure compensation upon his exit but he has "no intention" of accepting one, according to Phil Hay.
The Athletic journalist reported via the outlet's website on 17 November that the Birmingham City loanee has a permanent option in his loan deal at St. Andrew's despite his contract expiring in the summer anyway.
This is due to the Whites only needing to offer him an extension on his current terms to be entitled to financial compensation, thanks to the 21-year-old's age, but either way it appears certain he won't be back at Elland Road.
Drameh's loan switch to the Blues is his third in three seasons, after spending the second half of last term at Luton Town, and the corresponding months of the campaign prior to that at Cardiff City.

Leeds United could likely offer Drameh a major pay rise and he would have the same attitude towards it as he does to a potential extension on the same terms.
Having been in position as the potential heir to Luke Ayling at right-back across multiple windows he was routinely overlooked by a succession of Whites managers.
After winning awards in South Wales for his performances with Cardiff he saw Rasmus Kristensen brought in under Jesse Marsch two summers ago, and then after the Dane struggled and left on loan following relegation from the Premier League Daniel Farke was apparently also unsold.
The German attempted to bring his former Norwich favourite Max Aarons in before one of many unwelcome interventions from Bournemouth over the summer, and then turned to Djed Spence on loan from Tottenham.
So Drameh is clearly done as a Leeds United player, and Birmingham's permanent option or the potential compensation won't likely come close to what the club might have got to sell him amid increasing transfer interest over the past year.
The Whites' handling of him, both in terms of his opportunities at Elland Road and potential exits in the transfer market, has been among the more confusing aspects of the past couple of years at the club, but both sides have now no-doubt moved on, mentally if not officially for the next few months.
