Arsenal remain eager to tie Amario Cozier-Duberry down to a new contract as several clubs begin to show their interest in the youngster. The 18-year-old winger, who's previously been compared to Bukayo Saka by Jack Wilshere, sees his contract at the Emirates Stadium expire at the end of June.

According to the Mirror, Cozier-Duberry has attracted interest from Newcastle and Wolves. The report states that a move overseas isn't off the table either. Despite this, the Gunners remain hopeful of keeping the teenager on board.

It's said that there's strong belief within the club that Cozier-Duberry is almost ready to make an impact for the first team. The Mirror adds that talks have been held, but a final decision has not yet been reached either from the player or his representatives.

In April, Cozier-Duberry was shortlisted for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award after bagging nine goals and providing five assists. He also managed to net twice across four appearances in the UEFA Youth League.

Cozier-Duberry, often referred to as the 'jewel of the club's academy', has been regularly training with Mikel Arteta's squad this season, occasionally appearing on the bench. Despite Arsenal finishing fifth in the Premier League 2 table, the winger made a significant contribution, scoring twice in a dominating 6-2 win over Manchester United during the play-offs' first round last Friday.

The Gunners will face Chelsea at Meadow Park on Saturday lunchtime. Wilshere has likened Cozier-Duberry to Saka, despite acknowledging the pressure of such a comparison.

Speaking to The Athletic last year, the Arsenal Under-18s boss said: "Amario is very exciting and Mikel [Arteta] likes him. He reminds me of Bukayo Saka, plays in the same position as him, needs to get better with his decision-making like Bukayo did, but he's definitely exciting."

Wilshere further praised the 5ft 7 wide man. He added: "In some moments he's unplayable. You give him the ball and he can make things happen. You can set up a team and have a game plan, but when you've got individuals like that you've got a chance."
