Arsenal have been linked with a whole host of centre-forwards heading into the summer.

The likes of Ivan Toney, Alexander Isak and Benjamin Sesko have all been discussed as potential targets for the Gunners.

Another player who has been linked to Arsenal is Dominic Solanke, and the Bournemouth striker may have added a bit of fuel to that fire when speaking to the BBC.

Indeed, the striker says that he actually grew up as an Arsenal fan, claiming that his Dad is a huge Gunners supporter so he used to follow the north London club as well.

"First football shirt that you ever got?" Solanke was asked.

"It would probably be Arsenal. My Dad was an Arsenal fan so I used to follow them. I went to a few Emirates Cups back in the day. Not anymore, back in the day you love watching football and stuff, but when you grow up and you start playing against the teams it's hard to support a team," Solanke said.

Arsenal move could appeal to Dominic Solanke This is very interesting to hear in light of the fact Solanke has been linked with Arsenal.

The Gunners are said to be keen on Solanke, and perhaps the England international will have his head turned if Mikel Arteta's side make a bid this summer.

His Dad will certainly be keen to see this move come to fruition, while the player himself may still have a soft spot for the Gunners having grown up a fan of the club.

Who knows? Perhaps next season Solanke will rediscover his love for Arsenal if he does end up leading the line for the Gunners.

This is certainly an interesting dynamic to consider as Solanke continues to be linked with a big move.
